Back on track here with Pandemic Painting #22.
This one is a revisit of a scene that I’ve painted before. looking at Lake Michigan from a path leading from Fedder’s Alley.
I was glad the photo I took had so much drama and I think I captured this pretty well in the painting.
This one was done on a quarter sheet (11″ x 15″) 300# cold press Arches with Winsor & Newton watercolors. The heavier paper took the washes and glazes very nicely and the slightly rough surface helped to add texture to all parts of this one.
In baseball parlance, I got all of that one.
Stay safe and sane, my friends.
